Next Big Futurist, a video game blog, has published a short video game that looks to be a remake of the game from the 80s called ‘Toad’.
It’s based on a cartoon of a man in a lab who finds that his brain has been taken over by a robot that wants to eat his brain.
“I hope this video game is going to be more than just a simple homage to a classic video game, but it will be something really special,” Next Big futurist and director of the Future Games Lab, David Lipsett, wrote in a blog post.
“It is going be the most incredible, groundbreaking, and revolutionary video game ever made.
It’s also going to make me want to go back and play that game in a real lab.
And that’s why I’ve decided to make a game based on it.”
Lipsett has worked with Next Big before, working on projects like ‘Frozen Planet’, ‘Starfox Adventures’, ‘Worms: Battle for Worms’, and ‘The Last of Us’.
But this is the first time he has worked on a video project.
“This project is so much bigger than just video games,” Lipset told Next Big.
“As an artist and a gamer, I think I would have to be the biggest idiot in the world to think I could make a video that was anything but a homage to this game.”
The project will be released in November, with the game set to release in 2020.
“Toad” is a platformer that is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which robots have taken over the brains of humans, and they’re attempting to take over the world.
“In this dystopian world, you’re a scientist who has been turned into a robot.
Your job is to keep a team of scientists working to build a robot-powered utopia that you can then go back to being human.””
You have to take on the task of trying to survive on a robot planet, where you’re forced to wear a human suit,” Next Befuture explains.”
You’ll explore the various robot cities, find robots that can talk, and then you’ll eventually take on a life-or-death battle against a robot dictator who’s going to rule the world in a robot body.”
Lipets job in the game will be to explore different locations, and explore how the human brain works.
“We have a lot of things going on in this world, and it’s up to you to figure out how to keep the robots at bay,” Lippedets character designer, Sam Geddes, said in a video.
“Teddy’s brain is a pretty complex system.
It has a lot more layers than I’ve ever seen before in a game, and I hope that you’ll come across the way that the brain works.”
